After two years of the independent Amazon Labor Union (ALU) getting nowhere in its war with Amazon, as well as being financially broke, there is some breaking news from the Teamsters’ Facebook Page:

The Amazon Labor Union has formally affiliated with the 1.3 million-member strong Teamsters Union. The affiliation was announced by Teamsters General President Sean M. O’Brien during the union’s General Executive Board meeting today in Washington, DC. The Teamsters' board unanimously approved the affiliation.
