The Democrat-controlled California legislature is proposing a new law called the California Worker Freedom from Employer Intimidation Act which, if passed and signed into law, will ban employers from holding mandatory meetings with their employees about “religious matters” and “political matters,” as well as “certain rights guaranteed by the United States Constitution and California Constitution.”

This will also include banning employers from holding mandatory meetings to discuss unionization.
