FYI: We've made a slight (and temporary) change to LaborUnionNews.com
Dear Subscribers (and Visitors):
We have created a new, temporary section on LaborUnionNews.com. You may have noticed this week that we have created a separate category called ‘Teamsters @UPS’ for any news articles regarding the ongoing negotiations and potential Teamster strike at United Parcel Service (UPS).
Why are we doing this? The ongoing negotiations (and potential strike) is a huge national news story and occupying a lot of writers’ time. The reason we have created this new (and temporary) category is to not overwhelm the ‘Bargaining News’ category on the website and our daily News Digest
It’s only temporary. Once the Teamsters and UPS settle their new contract—whenever that may be—we will resume putting the news articles regarding the Teamsters at UPS under their appropriate categories.
For paid subscribers: You will now find articles about the Teamsters @UPS lower in the daily News Digest, alphabetized under Starbucks Union News.
For free subscribers: If you wish to see articles about the Teamsters at UPS, you will find them in the third column on LaborUnionNews.com
Again, this is temporary category that, once the Teamsters settle their contract (or strike) and the volume of UPS/Teamsters news article returns to normal, will be moved back under ‘Bargaining News.’
Please let us know if you have any questions.
Best regards,
Peter (aka ‘The Editor’)
