Heads Up: Changes Are Coming For Subscribers In October
[Note: If you’re already a paid subscriber, this does not apply to you.]
In October, the Labor Union News Digest will be for paid subscribers only. However, for non-paid subscribers, you will still be able to access most of the content for free through the main website.
Here’s why we’re doing this: Since launching LaborUnionNews.com back in January, we’ve worked day and night to publish nearly 8,500 news stories on our main website, 35 Labor Relations Radio podcasts (to date) with some amazing guests—from attorneys to a former NLRB chairman—numerous ‘under-reported’ news stories, and we’ve shared nearly all of them free-of-charge.
However, as we publish more to bring you updated news, our costs continue to increase as we find the need to subscribe to more pay-walled newspapers that have a limit on free articles.
As mentioned above, for those who just don’t want to pay to be a subscriber, the main website will continue to be free. However, as a subscriber-supported publication, we’re truly hoping you will choose to subscribe or maintain a paid subscription.
One other thing: You may have noticed that the time that we’re publishing the news is a bit later in the morning. The reason for this is to capture more up-to-the-minute news that is published first thing every morning, as opposed to setting a 7:00 am publishing time and miss news that (by way of example) comes out at 8:00 am.
Again, for those of you who are free subscribers, we hope you will consider upgrading to a paid subscription. However, if not, we understand…and you can still get most of the content on LaborUnionNews.com by going to the main website.
We hope you have a great weekend!
