🚨🚨 Just Like Reagan: New York's Democrat Governor FIRED And BANNED Striking Workers & The Media Is Silent
So-called "journalists" seem so focused on President Trump's "union busting" of federal workers that they hardly noticed a Democrat governor firing more than 2,000 strikers and banning them.

As a young unionist in the 1980s—shortly after then-President Ronald Reagan fired 11,000 striking air traffic controllers who, as federal workers, were engaging in an illegal strike—Reagan’s legacy, at least to those of us in the union movement at the time, was that of a “union buster.” Nearly 45 years later, for many, Reagan still carries that legacy.
Consequently, it is rather odd that when a governor from New York, who is a member of the Democratic Party, fires more than 2,000 striking prison guards and subsequently bans them from future state employment, the media is preternaturally quiet.
Like federal workers, New York State workers do not have the right to strike.
Just like the air traffic controllers of 1981, who were federal workers and legally barred from striking, New York State has the “Taylor Law,” which also prohibits government workers from striking throughout the state.
