Costco Teamsters vote to authorize US-wide strike, union says
Teamsters said on Sunday its members at U.S. retailer Costco Wholesale voted in favor of a nationwide strike, as they entered a final round of talks to reach a new contract ahead of a Jan. 31 deadline.
Union rejects King Soopers’ ‘final offer’
United Food and Commercial Workers Local 7 has rejected a "final offer" from King Soopers' parent company, Kroger. King Soopers and UFCW Local 7 have been in negotiations for about three months. The union has been pushing for higher pay and more staffing.
