Stellantis Laying Off 1,100 Detroit Workers Is Just The Beginning
Stellantis, the company behind Jeep, Chrysler, Dodge, and Ram is laying off 1,100 workers in Warren, Michigan. This move is just the start of broader job cuts across the company. No additional numbers have been provided regarding additional layoffs, but a spokesperson confirmed more were on the way.

NLRB: Union Petitions Filed with NLRB Double Since FY 2021, Up 27% Since FY 2023
From October 1, 2023 to September 30, 2024, the National Labor Relations Board received 3,286 union election petitions, up 27% since FY 2023, when the Agency received 2,593 petitions. This is more than double the number of petitions received since FY 2021, when the NLRB received 1,638 petitions.
