Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) Gives 'Full Support' To Congressional Staffers Unionizing
Spokesman clarifies after Speaker Pelosi side steps the question earlier in the day
WASHINGTON, DC—After seemingly dodging a question earlier in the day about whether she would support the unionization of Congressional staffers, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi’s Deputy Chief of Staff Drew Hammill took to Twitter on Thursday afternoon to clarify his boss’ stance.
“Like all Americans, our tireless Congressional staff have the right to organize their workplace and join together in a union. If and when staffers choose to exercise that right, they would have Speaker Pelosi’s full support,” Hammill wrote.
