The AFL-CIO's accurate (but misleading) statement about 'double-digit wage increases'

For those who do not understand the history or unions contracts, the AFL-CIO's statement is, at best, misleading.

The AFL-CIO and union-friendly media are independently boasting about union members receiving contracts with “double-digit wage increases.” However, neither the media, nor the AFL-CIO, are explaining the fact that, in many cases, these union members have not had increases in years and many new contracts are “front loaded.” This lack of providing a full context is, at best, somewhat misleading to those who do not understand the history or unions contracts.
