With 33,000 striking Machinists having crippled Boeing for more than seven weeks, union members will be voting today to accept or reject the latest deal.

If agreed to, the deal—touted by union leaders to be “an amazing agreement”—will end a contentious strike that has cost “$11.5 billion and counting,” according to CNN Business, as well as up to 17,000 Boeing workers their jobs due to layoffs.
