There have been 137 strikes since January 1st. So, why aren't we hearing about them?
Though down by 17.5% from 2023, strikes in 2024 are still occurring regularly.

According to Cornell University’s Labor Action Tracker, as of June 1, 2024, there have been 137 strikes since January 1, 2024. During the same period in 2023, there were 166 strikes, according to the database, a year-over-year decline of 17.5 percent.
While we attempt to post every strike and labor dispute on LaborUnionNews.com, many strikes don’t make the news and, as a result, go unnoticed.
