A United Food and Commercial Workers (UFCW) local in Massachusetts is celebrating the nation’s first post-Cemex bargaining order issued by a National Labor Relations Board (NLRB) judge against a cannabis dispensary where employees voted against unionization in 2022.

“Workers at I.N.S.A. and anywhere there is labor organizing should celebrate this landmark decision.” Fernando Lemus, President of the United Food and Commercial Workers Union, Local 1445 stated on Wednesday.
