YGTBFKM: We're Launching ANOTHER Site & Podcast...But, It's Not Union Related
With so much labor news, you'd think we don't have time for anything else. Guess what...We do!
Dear Subscribers,
I know you subscribe to LaborUnionNews.com because we are the “most comprehensive source for news and views about today’s unions.” And, frankly, as ‘The Editor,’ with invaluable assistance from ‘Rosie the Researcher,’ posting more than a thousand articles per month, it takes quite a bit of time, both day and night.
However, we just did something crazy: We launched another news aggregator on Substack, ‘The YGTBFKM News,’ over Labor Day Weekend, and I’d like to share why.
Why YGTBFKM News?
Every day, as we aggregate labor and workplace-related news, we go through hundreds of articles.
However, as we look for articles covering labor-related news, we often see other articles that would interest readers…but are not labor or workplace-related. So, they end up in the ‘trash,’ so to speak.
Although we’re still dialing it in, The YGTBFKM News is a free news aggregator covering national news on crime, culture, the economy, immigration, media, politics, and more. While there may be some overlap of a story or two (likely economy-related news), it is not focused on labor relations.
You can see the format here:
Frankly, posting at YGTBKM News is rather simple. For articles on our news feed that are intriguing—but not labor or workplace related—they can be posted almost simultaneously and the daily news can be updated throughout the day.
To be clear: LaborUnionNews.com is not going away, or changing. YGTBFKM News is separate and apart from LaborUnionNews.com…and it’s free.
The YGTBFKM Podcast
The YGTBFKM Podcast, which will be airing on Saturdays with co-host Nick Kalm, is planned to be a fast-moving, weekly podcast covering the week's top news stories in a 30-minute (or so) format.
Like Labor Relations Radio, The YGTBKM Podcast will be aired here on Substack, as well as available on Apple, Spotify, or wherever you listen podcasts.
If you’re interested in getting more news daily, subscribe to The YGTBFKM News here.
We’re looking forward to being a source for all news and views for you!
