Unions increased the percentage of certification election wins in June, according to data from the National Labor Relations Board (NLRB).
According to NLRB data released earlier this month, unions won 83.5 percent of the 127 RC elections conducted by the NLRB, and 85.7 percent of the RM elections conducted.
By comparison, in May, unions won 76 percent of RC elections, and 84.6 percent of RM elections.
Though the highest RC election win rate for a recent month was 91 percent in September 2023, June’s RC election win rate is a 7.5 percent increase over that of May’s, and the highest all year.
The high percentage of union win rates have not gone unnoticed by unions. On Monday, the Teamsters noted on LinkedIn that the “Teamsters and other unions are winning workplace elections at a rate that is unrivaled in modern American history.”
